Chicken & Gravy Dinner

This chicken and gravy is made in a crockpot with simple ingredients, that can be paired with any of your favorite veggies and some yummy mashed potatoes!

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 Chicken breasts *thawed
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 packet Chicken gravy
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1-2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • In your Crockpot add the cream of chicken soup, water, gravy packet, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Using a whisk, stir to combine.
  • Add in thawed chicken breasts to the gravy mixture, coating all the chicken.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°.
  • Once the chicken if fully cooked, pull the chicken breasts out onto a cutting board. Use two forks to shred the chicken. Once the chicken is shredded you can add it back into the gravy mixture and stir to combine.
  • Enjoy with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli!

Notes

The chicken should be fully cooked by the 4 hour mark, but be sure to check with a meat thermometer that its up to the 165 internal temperature.
You can use frozen chicken, but cook on high heat for 4 hours, or low heat for 8 hours.
