Streusel topping ingredients

  • 2 Tbs butter melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8x4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Mash the ripe bananas with a fork and add butter, combine.
  • Mix in the baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  • Mix in the flour, till dough is combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • In a separate bowl make the streusel topping. Combine butter, cinnamon, flour, and powdered sugar, stir to combine.
  • With your fingers pick up portions of the streusel topping and carefully sprinkle it into small amounts to cover most of the top of the loaf.
  • Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from inserting it into the middle of the loaf. You don’t want any wet batter to come out on the skewer.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for several minutes.
  • Remove from pan and allow to cool completely before slicing into this decadent bread and be sure to share with others.
