Yes, you can freeze cookie dough! The best way is to use your cookie scoop to make individual balls of cookie dough. Next you’ll want to place balls of cookie dough onto a cookie sheet into the freezer to freeze properly. Once the balls of dough are completely frozen you can place them into a large ziploc bag and keep in the freezer till you’re ready to use! This will make cookie baking a flash when in a pinch, or when you are just craving delicious homemade cookies on a random night. You can set them on a cookie sheet to thaw completely before baking.

- KitchenAid Mixer
- Baking Sheet
- Measuring Cups
- Measuring Spoons
- Spatula
- Cookie Scoop or Spoon
- Parchment Paper
Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter Softened
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar Packed
- 1 cup White Granulated Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 1/2 cups Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl mix flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In your mixer combine the softened butter and sugars until combined.
- Add in eggs and vanilla to the mixer, mix until fluffy.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet, until combined.
- Add one 12 ounce bag of milk chocolate chips to the mixer and mix well.
- Using a cookie scoop, or spoon, roll 2 Tbs of dough into balls and place 12 evenly spaced onto the parchement paper on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let them rest on the baking sheet for several minutes before removing them and placing them onto a cooling rack. Enjoy!
