How to Start Meal Prepping: Part 1
I am so excited to share with you how you can start meal prepping today! It is easier than you think! I am going to share with you a few tips in this post and in Meal Prepping Part 2, so stay tuned! The best thing you can do to set yourself up for success, is to find the meal prep containers right for you. There are so many different options out there, and I have tried most of them! I’ll share with you the ones I suggest, for different reasons, and I’ll link the ones I have used and love!
Let’s start with these Bentgo Boxes! These are amazing. They are larger in depth, to fit all the food you could possibly need in them! Plus, they come in some really cute colors, this gold color is my favorite! Click the link below to check them out!
Gold Bentgo Meal Prep Containers
These Bentgo containers come in a set of 10 containers, with custom fit lids. They are such a good price!
Next up are these Simplehouseware, 1 compartment containers. There are a few awesome things about these. They come in a pack of 16, they are smaller than the other two containers I am sharing on this post, and they fit easily into the refrigerator, without taking up too much space! Plus, you are still able to fit lot’s of food inside. I personally like the one compartment the most, just out of preference! Click the link below to take you to these containers!
SimpleHouseware 1 Compartment Meal Prep Containers
I use these simplehouseware containers and the Bentgo containers most of the time! Both excellent choices.
These Freshware double compartment meal prep containers are spacious, and give you lots of room for delicious food! These are perfect for those of you who are in a Bulk phase, or for anyone needing to up their calories with extra food. I will still use them for our meals when I want to have space between different foods, so that is a bonus with these containers. Most meal prep containers are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. Most of them are made to be stackable as well! Click the link below to take you right to these double compartment containers!
I think yogurt parfait cups are so dang cute, I love them! I have 2 favorite brands, and I’ll share both of them with you! One of my favorite go-to afternoon snacks are these yummy yogurt parfaits, you can find all the recipes from this post on the blog, but be sure to check out this one! All the heart eyes for these Protein Yogurt Parfaits!
Be sure to check out both of these links to find which size is right for you! The larger size is the first one, the smaller, the second link!
For our lunches, my husband and I will use 5 containers each for the week, so 10 total. On Sunday, we meal prep for Monday through Friday lunches. I will also use 5 more containers for my Breakfast meal preps, which I also make on Sundays. So if you’re like me, you’ll want to at least have 10 containers with lids, but I also like to have a few more for when I prep yummy snacks!
